Winner of 20th anniversary Grand Prize Raffle announced

We are delighted to announce the winner of our biggest ever Grand Prize Raffle.

Sinead Rollinson-Hayes, of Irwin Mitchell Solicitors office in Sheffield, was the lucky recipient of the prize – a Canadian log cabin experience including return flights, generously donated by Colin Harris and his family.

£3,280 was raised by the Raffle – an amazing amount!

Sinead, who won with ticket 0589, said:

“I was absolutely shocked when I won Paces’ 20th Anniversary Grand Prize Draw.

“It’s such an amazing prize, and a once in a lifetime adventure so I want to say a huge thank you to Colin and the charity. I’m always happy to support Paces as it’s a much-needed cause that helps the most vulnerable in our society. I’ll be supporting many of its future fundraising events to further help the great work it does supporting children and adults alike.

“I’ve always wanted to go to Canada and I’m looking forward to being surrounded by nature and wildlife spotting. After getting married in June, this really will be the best honeymoon!”

Paces was excited to be able to offer the amazing prize and are extremely grateful to Colin for his kind donation. Colin’s grandson attends Paces’ non-maintained special school and he explained:

“Without Paces, Riley’s development would not be as far on as it is, and that view is shared by his Paediatrician.”

Irwin Mitchell have been supporting Paces throughout 2017 as their Sheffield office’s Charity of the Year so it is fitting the winner comes from the solicitors.

Natalie Yarrow, our Funding Co-ordinator, said:

“We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who played a part in selling the Paces 20th anniversary Grand Prize Raffle and of course to those who bought a ticket or two. We’d like to thanks Colin for the donation and congratulate Sinead on her win - we hope she enjoys her experience of a lifetime.”
