Westfield Health makes £50,000 donation to Paces

We’re excited to say that Paces is to get a major boost with a £50,000 donation.

The money is coming from Westfield Health, the award-winning health insurance firm based in Sheffield, who are celebrating their 100th anniversary this year.

The donation will go towards the ‘A New Home For Paces’ campaign to raise £1 million for a new modern, purpose-built home for the charity and school on a site in Sheffield.

It was collected by Ann Menzies-Blythe, Chair of Trustees for Paces, and Dr Spencer Pitfield, Paces Chief Executive, today (Wednesday 3 July) at Westfield Health’s Centenary Celebration.

Huge thanks to everyone at Westfield for this hugely important contribution to Paces.

The National Lottery supports Paces Summer School

Thank you to the National Lottery – and everyone who plays – for backing Paces.

We’ve just been awarded £6,640 from the Community Fund to support our exciting new Summer School programme this year.  That’s in addition to the money awarded by BBC Children In Need.

Paces School will be offering two weeks’ Summer School provision for up to 16 children, starting at the end of July, and these grants will support this.

The Summer School will offer a full Conductive Education programme but it will be interspersed with a range of fun summer activities, which will take place every afternoon.
