Our first Challenge Paces Sheffield fundraising event will be to take a team to walk up Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania between 20th and 30th June 2019.
This event will be open to all and the hope is that Parents, Staff, Friends, Trustees and Governors of Paces Sheffield will all consider taking up this incredible Challenge.
The Charity will sponsor all initial deposits of those joining this Challenge Paces event, which will be organised in conjunction with Global Adventure Challenges.
Participants will be required over the next 13 months to raise a minimum of £3,300 – which will not only cover all their individual Challenge Paces event costs but also raise a fixed amount for the Charity too. Clearly, the hope would be that the team of those taking part will together be able to raise considerably more for the Charity.
Dr Spencer Pitfield OBE, Paces Sheffield Chief Executive, said:
“I am so excited that we are able to announce our first Challenge Paces event. By taking a team up Mount Kilimanjaro we are showing that we are not afraid of any challenge and the sky really is the limit for how much we can achieve together to support our amazing work at Paces.”
We hope to confirm our team by the end of June 2018, so if you or anyone you know is interested in joining, please register your details using the form on this page, or by emailing SpencerPitfield@pacessheffield.org.uk – or give us a call to discuss on 0114 284 4488.
The event is open to anyone aged 18 or over and we will be Skyping our School pupils and adults at regular intervals through the climb to share as much of the experience as possible with them.
